Interaction programme held

IMPHAL, Dec 27 : An interaction programme was conducted today at Social Standard Club, Khurai Salanthong to discuss the proposed construction work of Imphal-Sagolmang road stretch.
The programme was attended by officials of PWD and Keystone Infra Private Limited, representatives of Meira Paibis and local clubs from Lamlong to Leitanpokpi areas.
Salam Ibopishak, chairman, Imphal Saikul Road Joint Development Committee (ISRJDC); Kh Robinson, Executive Engineer, PWD Imphal East Division and Jaladi Rama Krisha, project director, Keystone Infra Private Limited were also present at the event.
At the event, Salam Ibopishak informed the gathering about the recently signed ‘Deeds of Agreement’ between the ISRJDC and the Principal Secretary and PWD Chief Engineer.
He also appealed to the people not to cause any disturbance or obstruct the construction work of the Imphal-Sagolmang Saikul road, which will be conducted in a phase manner.
