KSA urges pvt schools

IMPHAL, Dec 28 : The Kangleipak Students' Asso-ciation (KSA) has urged all private schools not to burden parents by raising admission and tuition fees, given the ongoing crisis in Manipur and its impact on the State's economy.
Addressing a function at Hapta Kangjeibung, KSA president Sukham Bidya-nanda stated that the on- going crisis is entering its third year, directly affecting the livelihoods of the people of Manipur.
He urged all private schools to ensure that parents are not burdened or affected by fee hikes.
Admission and monthly fees should not be increased for the next academic session in the best interest of the student community and society as a whole, Bidya-nanda further appealed.
During the function, candidates who contested in the recent Higher Secondary School, College, and University student union elections under the guidance of KSA were also felicitated.
KSA advisor Paonam Labango Mangang and ACOAM-Lup Kangleipak president Soraisam Sanjit also attended the  programme among others.
