IMPHAL, Dec 29 : On the auspicious occasion of Emoinu Iratpa Numit, Honiya Enterprises is set to make locally bred Sareng available at five locations along National Highway 137A/Mayai Lambi.
The freshwater catfish will be sold at Samurou Keithel, Snowland Oil Pump at Samurou Naorem, Wangoi, Thongkhong Luxmi Keithel and Mayang Imphal on December 31.
The State is also making preparations to organise a fish festival on the same day.
It is worth noting that local breeding of Sareng began a few years ago in Manipur.
