RFA edge EDYC 2-1 in IW 3rd Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Dec 30 : RFA, Top Siphai edged past EDYC, Eroisemba by 2-1 goals in today’s match of the ongoing 7th Sh Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football League Tournament at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi Part II.
RFA, who crushed IBSA 5-2 in their previous match, found the lead late in the 70th minute thanks to Md Sajad’s clinical finish.
EYDC however pulled level 9 minutes later as Robinson found the equaliser before Ch Nganba snatched the winner two minutes into the stoppage time (80+2’) for the Top Siphai side.
With the result, EYDC’s two game winning streak in the 7-team league tournament came to a close.
Later in the day, Rohit scored in the 35th minute to earn USC, Phayeng a 1-0 win over UYPA, Kha Jiri.
