Police arrest three UG cadres

IMPHAL, Dec 4 : Security forces arrested three cadres of G-5 and registered five cases in connection with the 'threat' issued against the participants of the recently concluded Sangai Festival, said police control room (PCR) in a bulletin issued today.
Police said that strict action will be taken against any attempt to intimidate or disrupt cultural activities and public events in the State.
The PCR continued that two cadres of PREPAK (PRO) and one cadre of PREPAK were arrested during intelligence based operations today.
Police, meanwhile, stated that one vehicle lifter was arrested from Kwakeithel Sangaiprou Mamang Leikai today.
The arrested individual has been identified as Md Asad (29) of Kairang Aawang Leikai and from him one stolen Tata Yodha has been recovered.
