Man found dead

IMPHAL, Dec 5: An unknown male dead body, aged about 35-40 years, was found at Minuthong eastern side (beneath the bridge) at around 11.55 am today.
On receiving the information, a team of Porompat police station picked up the dead body in the presence of a Mobile Forensic Unit, Imphal East and an Executive Magistrate.
The dead body has been deposited at JNIMS mortuary for identification and necessary investigation, said a press release issued by the Officer-in-Charge of Porompat police station.
According to the press release, the deceased is 5’6” in height, of medium build, has elongated face, swarthy complexion, and black and short hair.
He wore olive green pants, black shirt and the body was covered with tattoos.
