3rd Premier League SSU thump AMOFA 2-0 to solidify position on top, RAU edge SU

IMPHAL, Dec 5 : Southern Sporting Union (SSU), Singjamei solidified their position on top of the 3rd Premier League 2025-26 as they notched up a 2-0 win over All Moirang Football Association (AMOFA), Moirang for the 10th win in 12 matches this afternoon at SSC ground, Sekta.
The goals that stretched SSU’s winning run to 10 games were scored by Laitonjam Lemba (15’) and substitute Maisnam Biken (77’).
Earlier in the day, Rising Athletic Union (RAU), Lairikyengbam Leikai pulled off a 2-1 win over Sagolband courtesy of goals from Ningombam Nishant (16’) and Ningthoujam Quintan (29’).
SU scored the consolation goal deep four minutes into the stoppage time through Ningthoujam Naresh.
