YPHU-W beat YAC by 7 runs in Veteran Cricket

IMPHAL, Dec 5 : YPHU- Warrior (W), Lalambung beat YAC, Yaiskul by 7 runs today in a Group B match of the ongoing 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground.
Asked to bat first, YPHU posted 163/9 in the allotted 30 overs courtesy of leading knocks from Hemanta 41 and Amarjit 27 and bowled out YAC for 156 runs in 30 overs riding on Heromen 3/29, Dularva 2/25 and four others.
For YAC, Birjit 3/20, Sarat 2/29, Kritikumar 2/27 and Ramesh 2/27 led the bowling attack before James 39 not out, Ramesh 30 and Chitaranjan 21 led the scoring in a lost cause.
Heromen of YPHU who shone with a three wicket haul was adjudged man of the match.
