SNC beat KSDO by 5 wickets in Veteran Cricket

IMPHAL, Dec 6 : SNC, Sangaiprou defeated KSDO, Kyamgei by 5 wickets in a Group C match of the ongoing 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2025-26 today at Langthabal Public Ground.
KSDO won the toss and opted to bat first. They were however bundled out for 89 runs in 24.5 overs as SNC’s Romeshchandra (4/9 in 6 overs), Rajen (2/12 in 6 overs), and Ranendrajit (2/3 in 1.3 overs) rattled their line up. SNC then eased to the winning 92 for the loss of 5 wickets in 23.2 overs courtesy of the unbeaten 6-wicket stand between Roshan’s 19 and Rajesh’s 14 after Romeshchandra 19, Romelkumar 15 and Suraj 12 made significant contributions.
Riyajuddin 26 not out off 45, Nawas 19 off 29, Khalilur 13 off 18 led the scoring for KSDO in the first innings that also saw Rajesh and Ronelkumar of SNC sharing two wickets.
Akbar of KSDO returned with the best bowling figures of 3/18 in the second innings as Khalique and Himat picked a wicket apiece.
Romeshchandra of SNC was named man of the match.
