SOREPA mourns

IMPHAL, Dec 6: The Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak has mourned the demise of People’s Revolutionary Army (PRA) cadre Laishram Lemba alias Chamba (20) s/o L Chittaranjan and Laishram (O) Ibe Leima of Chairen Mangjing, Bishnupur district.
Notably, PRA is the armed wing of SOREPA.
A press release issued by the outfit’s Publicity and Organization Secretary MC Yaiphabi said that Lemba alias Chamba died of a medical problem on December 4, 2025.
He took an active part in the struggle to safeguard the territorial boundary of Kangleipak. As a PRA fighter, Lemba alias Chamba always adhered to the party’s rules and doctrines, it said.
The demise of Chamba is a big loss for both SOREPA and PRA, it said.
Paying highest respect to the deceased cadre, the outfit has mourned his demise.
The outfit has also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
