3rd Premier League Mynam Arif scores thrice in KIYC’s 6-5 win

IMPHAL, Dec 7 : Mynam Arif Hussain scored a treble to inspire KIYC, Kshetri Iril Mapal a 6-5 win against Angtha FC in a keenly contested 3rd Premier League match today at SSC ground, Sekta.
It was the second straight win for KIYC in 12 matches.
Mynam Arif Hussain found the target in the 3rd, 84th and 89th minutes to earn the victory as Md Zahid Khan netted twice (26’, 55’) and Md Mustofa (10’) added one.
Ngangom Dhakeshwor also scored thrice for Angtha FC (45+1’, 61’, 72’ P) as Pukhrambam Zidan (37’) and Lungwardam Thanga (63’) contributed a goal apiece.
Earlier in the day, AIM, Khabam and ASUFII FA, Mao played out a 1-1 draw to share a point apiece.
AIM found the lead when ASUFII FA’s Waikhom Arunkumar conceded an own goal in the 41st minute before H Pfokreni scored the equaliser for ASUFII FA in the 70th minute.
