Irabot Foundation Manipur convenes 7th Loumeesinggi Poinu Meepham

IMPHAL, Dec 8 : The 7th Loumeesinggi Poinu Meepham was successfully conducted today at the auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) in Imphal.
The annual farmers’ winter session/meeting was organised by the Irabot Foundation Manipur (IFM) to address agricultural issues in the State
The event aimed to bring together farmers, agricultural experts, policymakers and stakeholders to discuss sustainable farming practices, innovative technologies and collaborative strategies for the agricultural development of Manipur.
The meet was graced by Kunjanmayum Gopen Luwang, president, IFM; Peter Salam, Director, Department of Agriculture, Manipur; Dr RK Khogendrajit Singh, Director, Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Services, Manipur; and Tourangbam Brajakumar, Director, Department of Environment & Climate Change, Manipur as presidium members.
As part of the event, prizes were distributed to 17 successful farmers of the State- Thounaojam Premchand (Kakching), Arambam Lukhoi Singh (Imphal West), Takhellambam Shakhitombi Chanu (Imphal East), Laichom Parisana Singh (Imphal West), Sanjabam Brojen (Imphal East), Thokchom Open (Thoubal), Khumanthem Ibomcha (Thoubal), Suraj Naorem (Bishnupur), Louriyam Anita (Bishnupur), Md Hefajuddin (Thoubal), Seven Day Chothe (Tengnoupal), Thangja Yaima (Senapati), Thoudam Ajit (Imphal East), Nongmaithem Gobindalal (Bishnupur), Elangbam Saratkumar Meitei (Kakching), Maibam Rameshor (Kakching) and Sanabam Umakanta (Kakching).
