AMBTA withdraws stir

IMPHAL, Mar 20: Following an understanding reached at a meeting held on March 18, 2025 with the Chief Secretary in the presence of CAF&PD Secretary and the CAF&PD Director, the All Manipur Bulk LPG Transporters’ Association (AMBTA) has withdrawn its non-cooperation protest against the Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
LPG bullet tanks will resume normal duty and join convoy movement, said a press release issued by the AMBTA secretary.
It said that the LPG transporters would be compelled to launch a non-cooperation protest against IOCL if the IOCL fails to address their issues by way of issuing a corrigendum to the published tender notice.
