Arms, ammunition recovered

IMPHAL, Jan 10: Security forces recovered several arms and ammunition in different operations today.
From the area of Siden and Changpikot villages under Churachandpur district, security forces recovered a Single Barrel Rifle.
From Monglam area under Thoubal dam police station, security forces recovered an unidentified metal, suspected to be a localmade weapon.
From Awlmun village under Kangchup police station, Kangpokpi, security forces recovered one AK-47 Rifle, one Single Barrel Rifle, four Single Barrel Bolt Action Rifle, two pull mechanism Rifles, four improvised mortars, two No36 hand grenades, 38 live rounds of different arms, two empty cartridges of Single Barrel, one hand-held radio set, one AK-47 magazine, two kilograms of pallet shots, four pairs of combat trousers, two combat T-shirts and two pairs of jungle boots.
