AMTA names State team for 14th National Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championships

IMPHAL, Jan 11 : The All Manipur Taekwondo Association (AMTA) has announced the names of the State players who will be representing the State at the 14th National Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championships due to be held from January 13 to 15 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi.
The Poomsae athletes selected for the championship include Naorem Leisemba of KTA (individual, group), Nongthombam Lamnganba of KTA (individual, pair), Vidyajit Haobijam of KTA (pair, group), Ningombam Trillok of KTA (group), Sanoujam Langlen of UTA (group), Soibam Thadoi of UTA (group), and Acharjamayum Reya Devi of UTA (group).
Nongthombam Singhajit and Sagolshem Rojesh were named as manager and coach for the Poomsae squad.
The Kyorugi athletes meanwhile include Thounaojam Urbi of TTSS (-22 kg), Konjengbam Lingjelthoibi Chanu of MTA (-24 kg), Laishram Tanshilina of PTA (-26), Senjam Langdai Chanu of UTA (U-35 kg), Rajkumari Thoihenbi of KTA (-38 kg), Okram Smriti Leima of UTA (-41 kg), Ningthoukhongjam Sarina of UTA (-47 kg), Takhellambam Velina of UTA (+47 kg), Khongbantabam Nongdam of KTA (-18 kg), Irengbam Tornado of KTA (-21 kg), Nongmaithem Tarabin of UTA (-23 kg), Kongkham Chedananda of UTA (-27 kg), Ngasepam Bhumiraj of MTA (-32 kg), Sarangthem Sinthangamba of UTA (-35 kg), Laishram Leo of PTA (-38 kg), Ningthoukhongjam Sanathoi of UTA (-41 kg), Nongmaithem Arjun of UTA (-44 kg), Loukrakpam Telhenba of NLTTS (-50 kg), and Thounaojam Pamthoiba of UTA (+50 kg). Nongthombam Singhajit and Lousigam Sarju were named as coaches who will be leading the Kyorugi squad by the AMTA.
