MSBA greets Ng Rishav-Skie Deep Kour on winning bronze

The Manipur State Badminton Association (MSBA) extends its heartiest congratulations to Rishav Ngangom and his partner Skiedeep Kour for their stellar performance at the YONEX- SUNRISE All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2026.
The duo clinched the bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles (XD) Under-19 category at the National level tournament held in Hyderabad, Telangana, from January 3 to January 10, 2026.
Rishav Ngangom, representing Manipur, and Skie Deep Kour displayed exceptional teamwork and resilience throughout the tournament, overcoming several seeded pairs to secure a podium finish.
This achievement adds another feather to the cap of Manipur’s growing reputation as a powerhouse for badminton talent in India, said MSBA in a press release.
 Th Biswajit Singh, president of the Manipur State Badminton Association, praised the athletes' dedication, stating: "Rishav and Skiedeep have made us immensely proud. Their success on the national stage is a testament to their hard work and the rising standard of badminton in our state. We wish them continued success in their future endeavors and hope this inspires more young athletes from Manipur to excel."
The MSBA also acknowledges the coaches, support staff, and families whose unwavering support played a pivotal role in this achievement, it said.
