Drugs seized

IMPHAL, Jan 11: Security forces arrested three drug smugglers and recovered over 5 kilograms of WY tablets in Tengnoupal yesterday.
The three arrested have been identified as James Baite (28), Hatneikim Baite (50), both of Tengnoupal district and David T Mate (41) of Churachandpur district.
They were intercepted while travelling in a Bolero at a checkpoint at Tengnoupal police station, said the police.
From their possessions, the security forces seized and recovered 5.89 kilograms of WY tablets.
The security forces also seized the vehicle, three mobile phones and Aadhaar cards, said the police.
