Award presentation, reception programmes held

IMPHAL, Jan 12 : The All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) hosted a Reception Programme cum Get Together at MB College in Palace Compound, Imphal yesterday.
The programme was graced by AMSU leaders, YK Dhiren, president UCM; Dr Haobijam Chalamba Meitei, Head, Department of Manipuri, MB College and Yumnam Devjit, managing director, Mayol Energy Solution.
At the event, candidates of AMSU who were successful in this year’s higher secondary school, college and university elections were warmlya welcomed and felicitated.
Moreover, the Annual Award Presentation Ceremony of Honeycomb Foundation School was held yesterday at Mongsangei Boroimakhong Ground.
The ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including RK Imo Singh, MLA, Sagolband AC; M Anikumar, chairman, Honeycomb Foundation Charitable Trust; Prof (retired) Th Ratankumar Singh, English Department, Manipur University; and Prof Ch Ibohal Singh, Director, R&D Cell, Manipur University.
As part of the event, awards were presented to meritorious students and other achievers of the school who won medals at various sports events.
