Bollards near CM bungalow

IMPHAL, Jan 15: Amid rumours about a possible lifting of the President's Rule and formation of a popular Government, strict security measures have been put in place near the Chief Minis-ter's Bungalow.
Bollards to prevent/direct traffic are being installed near the bungalow. The installation work began yesterday.
The bollard systems are being installed to ease traffic management in the area, said a worker when inquired.
There is, however, no renovation or beautification work being done inside the CM bungalow, said sources.
Renovation/beautification work inside the bungalow is usually done whenever a new Chief Minister is about to enter office. The work is usually done after rituals are held for blessing, said the sources.
