Shiv Sena urges for popular Govt

IMPHAL, Jan 17 : Shiv Sena, Manipur unit president Moirangthem Tombi has urged the Centre to restore a popular Government in Manipur.
Addressing the media at Babupara, Tombi stated that it is the people's wish to have a Government that truly represents them.
He called on the Centre to expedite the border fencing work and take measures to prevent illegal immigration so as to protect the indigenous people of Manipur.
Tombi also urged the Government to ensure free movement across the State, rehabilitate the internally displaced people and take strict action against those involved in collecting illegal taxes on the highways.
Meanwhile, Tombi expressed happiness over the NDA securing an absolute majority in the Bombay Municipal Council elections and expressed hope that the NDA will strengthen its foothold in many more States.
