IEDs, guns seized at CCpur

IMPHAL, Jan 18 : Security forces seized 15 IEDs, eight country made single barrel rifles, three country 9mm CMGs, one 51mm bomb (HE) and some miscellaneous items from Kolchung under Henglep Sub Division in Churachandpur today, said a police bulletin.
Police also said that 283.2 gram of heroin was seized from one Khulak-pam Ayajuddin (41) of Bengoon Loukok Mayai Leikai from his locality yesterday.
Ayajuddin has been arrested.
Additionally, police arrested one Md Riyash Khan (31) of Sangaiyumpham Nungpou Makthal Leikai in Thoubal along with 13 bottles of Delstal cough syrup, 33 bottles of Berrycof cough syrup, nine strips and three pieces of Nitrazepam tablets.
He was arrested from his residence.
The bulletin continued that two stolen vehicles viz Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and one Honda Activa were recovered from Tulsen village under Machi police station in Tengnoupal yesterday.
