YWC vs REYS in 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament title clash

IMPHAL, Jan 19 : YWC, Langthabal will play REYS, Nagamapal in the title clash of the 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament organised by the Manipur Veteran Cricket Association.
YWC completed their final line up with a 2 wicket win over YCC, Wangkhei today in a match that turned contentious towards the end.
Chasing 151 for the win, YWC were 147/8 with 13 balls left to spare when YCC players walked out and accepted their loss.
Earlier in the day, Laishram Sanjit 39 off 42, Winkan 36 off 54, Everest 21 off 20, 16 off 21, and Itombi 11 off 15 led the scoring for YCC, who were asked to bat first by YWC, before they closed out the innings (30 overs) at 150/8.
Tejkumar was the pick of the YWC bowlers claiming three wickets (3/32) as Prakashmani (2/29) and Samananda (2/32) shared four wickets.
In reply, Tejkumar was unbeaten on 39 off 48 balls with Rickeal 4 not out off 12 when YWC reach 147/8 in 27.5 overs.  
The innings also saw Prakashmani 18 off 40, Priyokumar 15 off 7, Kumarjit 14 off 15, and Sasi 12 registering double digit scores as Everest (2/40), Binishan (2/21), Itombi (2/9) of YCC shared 6 crucial wickets.
Tejkumar was adjudged man of the match.
The final match is slated for January 24.
