M Nandeshwori nets seven as YWC-L outclass ICSA 18-0

IMPHAL, Jan 30 : Maibam Nandeshwori scored 7 goals alone to fashion Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L) a comprehensive 18-0 win over ICSA, Irengbam in a one sided Group B encounter of the ongoing U-19 Women’s Football Tournament 2025-26.
Nandeshwori opened the floodgate in the 12th minute before netting six more goals in the remaining part of the game (16’, 35’, 45+2’, 50’, 52’, 81’).
Loukrakpam Seityamala (13’, 27’, 49’, 61’), Chingangbam Binomala (21’, 34’, 71’) and Konthoujam Rasheshori (79’, 87’) also contributed 9 goals to YWC-L’s tally today as Sorokhaibam Lakhipyari (26’) and Atom Linthoi (45+4’) chipped in a goal apiece to complete the 18-0 devastation of ICSA.
It was the second win for the Langthabal outfit having handed ESU, Palace Compound a 6-0 defeat in their opening match.
Later in the day, FC Imphal thumped ESU by 2-0 goals.
The two sides cancelled out one another early on to settle the first half in a goalless draw but Thingujam Bhumika put FC Imphal ahead after 63 minutes before Athokpam Luxmi hit the decisive goal four minutes into the stoppage time (90+4’).
Khuman FC will play KRYPHSA in the next match from 12.30 pm on February 1 before MPSC play MUFA from 2 pm.
