YAC vs IBSA, PSC vs KCDO in 10th MNCA Plate Tournament semis

IMPHAL, Jan 3 : Group A winners YAC, Yaiskul will play Group B runners up IBSA, Yumnam Leikai and Group B winners PSC, Khuyathong will play Group A runners up KCDO, Kongpal in the semi-final matches of the 10th MNCA Plate Tournament on January 6.
The league round came to a close with RRCC, Churachandpur and YPHUC, Lalambung Makhong securing wins in dead rubber Group A matches.
At Moijing Public Ground, RRCC ended their campaign with a 71-run victory over SHADOW, Thangmeiband despite S Loyumba’s fifer.
Moirangthem Rameshwor scored a 41-ball 61 (8 fours and 2 sixes) while L Pravin Kumar remained unbeaten on 44 off 58 balls to guide toss winners RRCC to 158/9 before L Pravin (3/17), L Elan (3/21), and Bineto (2/25) set up SHADOW collapse at 87 within 22.3 overs.
Earlier in the first innings, Loyumba picked five wickets (5/34 in 6 overs) for SHADOW as Y Manjeet and A Govind claimed one wicket apiece before they had a nightmarish chase. H Chinglemba on 10 was the highest scorer for SHADOW in reply.
Elsewhere at Lairenjam Public Ground, YPHUC sealed an 18-run victory over YWC-Patsoi.
Opting to bat first, YPHUC were bundled out for 151 runs in 30.2 overs but YWC-Patsoi ended up scoring 133 for all wickets down in 27.3 overs as S Amitakanta (3/30), Konsam Mangal (2/15), S Ishwarchandra (2/17), and Bishworaj Sharma (2/28) led the demolition job.
Chandrakumar 26, Govinda 23, and Ishwarchandra 23 led the scoring for YPHUC earlier in the first innings that saw Laikhuram Jagat (4/31) and Lamyanba (3/17) sharing 7 wickets for YWC-Patsoi.
In reply, M Thoungamba topscored for YWC-Patsoi with a 44-ball 39.
