IMPHAL, Jan 5 : IBSA, Yumnam Leikai ended their 3-game losing run in the ongoing 7th Sh Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football league by handing KYDC, Kiyam Sangaithel Road a 5-3 defeat today at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi Part II.
KYDC had a bright start and took a 2-0 lead within 9 minutes as Lanchenba (7’) and Rustum (9’) scored back to back but Pamenbosh netted a brace (15’, 21’) to draw level for IBSA before Lemba overturned the lead in the 28th minute. Luhen (48’, 64’) also netted twice in the second half for IBSA to seal the 5-3 win despite Lemba conceding an own goal in the 59th minute.
