PREPAK refutes police report

IMPHAL, Jan 7: The proscribed PREPAK has refuted any connection whatsoever between the outfit, its armed wing the Red Army and Khundrak-pam (ongbi) Ningthoujam (ningol) Roshidiya Devi (24) of Khangabok Khul-lakpam Leikai, Thoubal district and Lisham (ongbi) Bidya (30) of Thoubal Haokha Maning Leikai.
According to a press release issued by the outfit’s Publicity Officer, Department of Publicity and Propaganda, Roshidiya and Bidya were arrested by a team of Manipur Police on January 5, 2026 on the charge of recruiting cadres for PREPAK.
The outfit said that the charges levelled against the two women are baseless.
