86 Bn CRPF conducts pre recruitment training at Kangpokpi

IMPHAL, Jan 7: Under the aegis of the IG M&N Sector, the 86 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Tuesday conducted a Pre-Recruitment Training programme under the Civic Action Programme at TTH Chilchil, Kangpokpi district, Manipur.
The training programme, aimed at preparing young aspirants for recruitment into the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), was organised for youths from Makhan and Leikhampokpi villages under Sapormeina Police Station.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant, 86 Bn Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), in the presence of W Nandili Devi, Second-in-Command (Ops); Shivraj Bahulya, Asst Commandant, 112 Bn (Training-in-charge (TTH Chilchil); Inspector N Achoubi Singh, OC, C/86 Bn; Inspector Somipam Kapai; Inspector Udit Narayan Tiwari, along with trainers and other CRPF personnel.
Village chiefs, local authorities, guardians and a large number of aspirants from both villages actively participated in the event.
To encourage and motivate the trainees, stationery items and T-shirts were also distributed during the programme.
A fruitful interaction session was also held between the Commandant, village chiefs, guardians and aspirants.
During the interaction, Saurabh Kumar Choudhary highlighted issues related to community welfare, career opportunities for youths and future cooperation.
He expressed gratitude to the villagers and aspirants for their enthusiastic participation and stated that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has, over the years, emerged as a pillar of stability and security, striving to build stronger bonds of trust, understanding and mutual respect with the local population.
