Contrasting wins for NFMA, SDC in 18th MSL

IMPHAL, Jan 8 : NFMA and Social Development Club (SDC) emerged victorious in today’s Group B matches of the 18th Manipur State League 2025-26 being organised by the All Manipur Football Association at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
In the first match of the day, NMFA thrashed Milan FA by 3-0 goals for the second straight win thanks to a double from Moirangthem Ronik (35’, 76’).
Irengbam Indrajit scored the decisive goal deep four minutes into the stoppage time after Ronik scored a goal each side of the break and returned with a double.
Later in the day, SDC rode on a freak first minute goal from Athokpam Aimson to beat FC Kumbi 1-0 and opened their winning account after going down by 2-7 goals to NMFA in the opening match.
