USC, NISC victorious in IW 3rd Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Jan 8 : USC, Phayeng and NISC, Lairenjam emerged victorious in today’s matches of the ongoing 7th Sh Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football League Tournament 2025-26.
In the 19th match of the tournament being underway at PAMYAL ground in Patsoi Part II, USC romped 4-0 past RFA, Top Siphai.
USC, who had won thrice in four previous matches, rode on goals from N Raj (25’) and M Akash (48’) to take a 2-0 lead today before K Achouba of RFA conceded an own goal in the 69th minute to further extend the lead.
N Bikram then fired home the decisive goal late in the 80th minute.
Later in the day, NISC rode doubles from K Roshan (19’, 64’) and L Thoiba (46’, 50’) to seal a 4-2 win over KYDC, Kiyam Sangaithel Road.
For KYDC, Modhumangol (22’) and Rustum (62’) netted a goal apiece.
