U-19 Women’s Football M Nandeshwori’s brace guides YWC-L into final

IMPHAL, Feb 9 : Maibam Nandeshwori scored a brace as YWC, Lanthabal (YWC-L) beat KRYPHSA, Naoremthong by 3-1 goals in the first semi-final match of the U-19 Women’s Football Tournament organised by 165 Ifn Bn (TA) (H&H), Assam under Op Sadbhavana for the year 2025-26 in collaboration with AMFA at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong, Imphal.
YWC-L took 13 minutes to take the lead with Maibam Nandeshwori finishing a well coordinated move before making no mistake in converting a penalty 20 minutes later to make it 2-0.
KRYPHSA cut the deficit through Maibam Olympia in the 42nd minute but YWC-L retained the two goal advantage and came out 3-1 winners thanks to Yumnam Laxmi’s 53rd minute strike.
FC Imphal will play MUFA in the second semi-final match tomorrow.
The final match is slated for February 16.
