IE’s ASMITA Sepaktakraw League 2025–26 concludes

Imphal , Feb 9 : The ASMITA Sepaktakraw League 2025–26, organised by the Imphal East District Sepaktakraw Association, concluded successfully with its closing ceremony held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at IMSUC Ground, Heingang Makha Leikai.
The event marked the successful conclusion of the league, which witnessed enthusiastic participation and competitive performances, contributing significantly to the promotion of Sepaktakraw and grassroots sports development in Imphal East district.
As part of the concluding programme, the final matches were held, in which IMSUC (A) defeated HUDIC (A) in the Sub-Junior Girls’ final in the straight sets (15–7, 15–2) while IMSUC secured another 2–0 (15–11, 15–12) victory over HUDIC in the Junior Girls’ final.
The prize distribution ceremony was also conducted on the occasion, during which the winning teams and participants were felicitated.
The closing function was attended by W Ibohal Singh, MCS, Registrar of Societies, Government of Manipur; Waikhom Jiten, President, All Manipur Sepaktakraw Association; Thokchom Mangichan, District Youth Affairs & Sports Officer, Government of Manipur; and P December Singh, President, All Manipur Panchayat Parishad, among other dignitaries.
