MVCA reverses SNC vs YUCC match result

IMPHAL, Feb 9 : The Manipur Veteran Cricket Association (MVCA) has reversed the result of the SNC vs YUCC match in the XIII T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament following a protest from the YUCC.
The match was previously declared won by SNC by 34 runs but the MVCA, which is organising the tournament, upheld the protest of YUCC against SNC for fielding an unregistered player.
The decision to reverse the decision and declare YUCC the winners, was taken during an executive committee meeting held today.
The meeting chaired by A Mohandas, vice president of MVCA also took other resolutions including imposition of fine and other penalties on SNC and their team officials for breaching “tournament conduct rules”.
