Foundation day observed

IMPHAL, Feb 10 : Marking the last day of their three-day observance, Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur celebrated its 18th foundation day at the Loktak Hall of Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul today.
PAWF kicked off its foundation day celebration on February 8.
Today's event was graced by Wangkhei Assembly Constituency MLA Thangjam Arunkumar; PAWF Manipur president Naoroibam Khamba Luwang; Sahitya Akademi Manipuri Language Advisory Board member Khoisnam Ongbi Birola; Manipuri Women Literature and Cultural Organisation, Hojai president H Kinjabati; Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Dispur Branch secretary K Joykumar; PAWF, Tripura Advisory Board member Ksh Madhabi and Imphal East ZP former Up-Adhakshya Kshetri Tama as the chief guest, president amadi guests of honour respectively.
As a part of the ceremony, floral tributes were offered before the photos of deceased members of PAWF.
A warm welcome was also accorded to former presidents of PAWF, new patron members, life members, awardees and representatives from Assam and Tripura.
