YPHU-N hammer SHADOW by 139 runs

IMPHAL, Feb 13 : YPHU-N, Lalambung and NAPSA, Kha Imphal secured dominating victories in today’s matches of the ongoing XIII T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026 at Langthabal Public Ground.
In a Group C match of the day, YPHU-N raised a daunting total of 231 runs for 5 wickets before restricting SHADOW, Thangmeiband for 92 runs for 8 wickets to seal a huge 139-run victory. It was second straight win for YPHU-N.
Jitan quickfired 55 off 25 balls while Boiton anchored with an unbeaten 48 off 29 balls to help YPHU-N post the huge total before the bowlers produced economical bowling performances to hold SHADOW to just 92 runs.
Dhaneshor 34, Thenthen 25 and Amitesh 18 also made significant scores for YPHU-N in the first innings that saw SHADOW’s Alex (2/47), Romesh (1/31), Paikhomba (1/31) and Solomon (1/37) sharing 5 wickets.
In reply, Romesh 26 and Surjitkumar 20 emerged the double digit run getters as Arun picked two wickets (2/11) and five others claimed a wicket each. Jinta was adjudged man of the match.
Later in a Group D match, NAPSA raised 173 runs for 5 wickets after opting to bat first before restricting BSC-B to 115/7 in the chase.
