State Veteran TT C’ship Sushila-Marjit pair clinch mixed doubles title

IMPHAL, Feb 14 : IE-IW pair of N Sushila Devi and Ch Marjit have sealed the mixed doubles title in the XXIV State Veteran Table Tennis Championships 2025-26 today.
In the final of the championships being underway at Indoor Stadium, DM University Campus, Sushila and Marjit combined well to defeat IW-IE pair of I Sumila Devi and RK Noveal in straight sets (11-4, 11-8, 11-7) to secure the top honour.
Sushila and Marjit made their way to the final with a hardfought 11-8, 11-6, 5-11, 6-11, 11-7 semi-final win over Thoubal and IW pair of S Ashalata and Ch Radhakrishnan earlier in the day.
Sumila and Noveal meanwhile reached the final with a 7-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-3, 11-5 win over the Thoubal and IW pair of Kh Kiranbala and T Manihar in another semi-final clash.
