Heroin seized

IMPHAL, Feb 16: Security forces arrested one Md Jayad Khan and seized 397 grams of heroin and a single barrel gun with ammunition from his possession yesterday.
Md Jayad Khan was arrested from his residence at Sangaiyumpham Part-II Cherapur, under Thoubal police station, said the police.
From his possession, security forces seized ten soap cases containing heroin No 4 weighing 397 grams, one single barrel gun with an ammunition belt containing 6 live rounds and a 2-wheeler vehicle, said the police.
