FC Raengdai win Gen Padmajung Invitation football title

IMPHAL, Feb 17 : FC Raengdai, Noney were crowned the champions of Gen Padmajung Invitation Football Tournament 2026 held at Kailashahar, Tripura from February 1.
In the final match of the tournament staged today, FC Raengdai got the better of TRAU, Kwakeithel 5-3 in tie breaker to seal the top honour. Notably, FC Raengdai defeated ASEB, Assam 1-0 in the pre - quarter final before trouncing College Veng, Mizoram 4-0 in the quarter final and 4-1 on penalties against Tripura Police in the semifinals.
FC Raengdai not only sealed the top honour but also saw its players- Chuingampou Kamei securing the top scorer and L Bikramjit getting the player of the final match accolades, said a statement issued by the football club.
