Ramadan greetings

IMPHAL, Feb 18 : As the holy month of Ramadan begins, Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand has extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur, especially the Muslim brothers and sisters.
In a message, the Chief Minister said this sacred time strengthens community bonds and ignites a spirit of generosity.
Urging everyone to embody the Prophet's message of compassion and peace, he expressed hope that this sacred month will bring the State and its people closer to harmony, stability and lasting peace. Extending Ramadan greetings, Mayang Imphal AC MLA Kongkham Robindro prayed for peace, joy and spiritual growth for all. He urged people to embrace the spirit of unity, understanding and kindness as they gather with loved ones and extend their hands to those in need.
"May people be guided by good religious teachings and sincere efforts to bring peace and harmony not only in their households but the entire State", said Inner Manipur Lok Sabha MP Dr Angomcha Bimol Akoijam conveying Ramadan wishes. The Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) has expressed hope that Ramadan will allay the feelings of mistrust prevailing in Manipur society and bring peace and restoration of harmonious co-existence in the State.
