SU-SVC thrash YCC, BSC-A beat LCC in veteran cricket

IMPHAL, Feb 19: SU-SVC Sagolband and BSC-A Brahmapur emerged victorious in today's matches of the 13th T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026 at Langthabal Public Ground.
SU-SVC Sagolband beat YCC Kwakeithel by 102 runs, and BSC-A Brahmapur secured a 35-run victory over LCC Lamshang.
The morning match at the Langthabal Public Ground saw an undefeated Rahul scoring a massive 104 runs off 58 balls to help SU-SVC amass 191 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs.
YCC lost all wickets in 16.5 overs and ended up scoring only 89 runs.
Rahul (104/58), Baleshor (24/28), Pritam (22/15), Sanjoy (22/13) and Chingkheinganba (8/6) contributed runs for SU-SVC to reach 191.
YUCC's Nishi took one wicket.
Bidison (23/12), Doren (16/12), Biswajit (8/26), Risk (6/03), Manikumar (4/10), Sanat (3/6) and Netaji (2/4) contributed runs in YUCC's failed knock of 89 runs.
SU-SVC's Bedamohon took 3 wickets. Meiraba took 2 wickets, and Pyarlal, Sanjoy and Rahul scalped one wicket each.
In the evening at the same ground, BSC-A won the toss and opted to bat first, and scored 177 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, LCC could score only 142 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
In BSC-A's buildup to reach 177, Tarun knocked a massive 94 runs off 62 balls.
His team-mates, Rishi (29/24), Rohindro (18/13), Robinson (15/14) and Thoungamba (12/7) contributed runs.
LCC's Romendro took one wicket. Michael and Nandakumar took one wicket each.
In LCC's chase, Suresh knocked a massive 42 runs off 35 balls, but it did little to help the team sustain the momentum and reach the target.
