Asian Junior Wushu C’ship medallist Devika receives kits from Canara Bank

Asian Junior Wushu Championship 2025 silver medallist Konthoujam Devika today received sports equipment and kits from Canara Bank under the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in a programme held today at WAL United Club’s auditorium, Wangkhei Angom Leikai.
The equipment was officially handed over to the athletes by Debangan Mukherjee, Divisional Manager of Canara Bank, who also encouraged the young athlete to work harder and achieve more in her future endeavours.
Angom Bobby, secretary WAL United Club; M Biramani, founder secretary of Wushu Association of Manipur and other key position holders of Canara Bank also attended the programme.
Speaking at the event, Debangan Mukherjee took note of Manipur's rich sports legacy while highlighting the Canara Bank’s initiatives to support athletes.
