Football Turf inaugurated at Langthabal Mantrikhong Chingthak

IMPHAL, Feb 21 : An artificial football turf titled -Sports Club Manipur was launched yesterday at Langthabal Mantrikhong Chingthak.
Speaking at the inauguration programme, proprietor of the turf, Elangbam Johnson said that the turf was laid to help reinforce Manipur’s footballing prowess and steer youth away from substance abuse.
Noting strong presence of varied athletes in the Langthabal area, he also expressed his aspiration to develop a complete sports hub at the vicinity by adding more sports facilities including badminton court and indoor cricket to help groom and produce more imminent athletes.
He also sought support from all quarters to join hands in his campaign of eradicating drug menage and making the State more robust in terms of health and sports.
