Drugs seized

IMPHAL, Feb 21 : Police seized 660 gram of brown sugar from T Khullen in Senapati district on February 19.
According to police, the drug was seized from two residents of Irong Chesaba Mayai Leikai in Kakching district identified as Rahish Khan (22) and Mustakim Ahamad (23).
From their possesion, one i20 car bearing Assam registration number was also seized.
Police further stated 20 acres of poppy plantation were destroyed at Mongken area under Henglep police station in Churachandpur on February 20.
Another 10 acres of poppy plantation were destroyed at Kangjang Hill Range area under Mao police station in Senapati district on February 19.
