IMPHAL, Feb 23 : Thadou Inpi Manipur (TIM) has extended its deepest condolences upon the passing of Vungzagin Valte, former Minister and three-time MLA of 56-Thanlon (ST) Assembly Constituency (2012-2026), on February 21.
The late MLA was a former banker with the State Bank of India.
In a press release, TIM lauded Vungzagin Valte as a rare and exemplary leader who rose above narrow affiliations to become a mass leader dedicated to peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and the welfare of every section of society.
The Thadou community will eternally cherish his steadfast solidarity and unwavering support during our most difficult periods, it added.
Stating that Manipur has lost a good leader, TIM said the late MLA's legacy of humility, bridge-building, and inclusive leadership will continue to guide everyone toward a more united future.
TIM has also extended its sincere sympathies to his grieving family, loved ones, the people of Thanlon, and the entire Zomi/Paite community.
