Heroin seized

IMPHAL, Feb 23 : Security forces arrested a person from Assam and seized 840 grams of suspected heroin powder at Senapati today.
The arrested person has been identified as Abu Mohammad Tahir (28) of Khola Part-1, Karimganj, Assam.
Police said the individual was travelling in a Bolero when security forces interceapted him at T Khullen Naka Check Post under Senapati police station.
Suspected heroin powder weighing 840 grams, the Bolero bearing Assam registration number and one mobile phone were seized from his possession, said the police.
