IMPHAL, Feb 23 : The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal has issued a clarification in response to the circulation of fabricated recruitment notifications on social media and other channels.
In a press release, RIMS noted that a fake notification was circulated with the claim that one Lourembam Jessica Devi has been selected for appointment to the post of staff nurse at RIMS, Imphal.
Yet another notification purportedly signed by the Deputy Director (Admin) announcing “personnel interaction” for the said posts has also been observed, said the press release.
Categorically denying their legitimacy, RIMS has clarified that these notifications are false, unauthorized, not issued by the institute and devoid of official validity.
It further clarified that the recruitment process for staff nurse at RIMS, Imphal is done through NORCET, which is a centralized recruiting examination conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi only.
RIMS strongly condemns such irresponsible and misleading acts, intended to create confusion among candidates and the general public. It has also advised citizens not to believe, share, or circulate such fake documents.
It has further cautioned that creation and circulation of forged official documents is a serious offence which may attract strict legal action under the relevant laws, against individuals involved in such activities.
In the interest of the public, it informed that all recruitment-related information and official notifications of RIMS are published only through the institute’s authorized channels- official website: https://www.rims.edu.in; official email: [email protected] and official notice board at RIMS campus, Imphal.
Candidates and the public have been requested to verify information exclusively through the above official sources.
