Chingkheihunba PC reach 21st Governor’s Cup Women’s Polo Tournament final

IMPHAL, Feb 24 : Chingkheihunba PC, Kongpal entered the final of the 21st Governor’s Cup Women’s Polo Tournament with a 6-3 win over Imphal Riding Club, Lamphel today at Mapal Kangjeibung.
M Priya scored thrice in Chingkheihunba PC’s victory today as M Bijenti, Th Tana and RK Neelu added a goal apiece.
Chingkheihunba PC got off to a rousing start with M Bijenti, Th Tana and RK Neelu adding a goal apiece within three minutes before M Piya scored back to back in the 4th and the 7th minutes to earn a 5-0 lead.
The two sides drew nil in the second chukker before M Priya completed her treble (1:26) in the third chukker that also saw L Lucy (4:00) and Mona Kamei (6:04) scoring a goal apiece for Imphal Riding Club to make it 2-6.
Lucy scored another in the third minute of the final chukker for Imphal Riding Club to make the final scoreline read 3-6.
