Poppy destroyed

IMPHAL, Feb 24 : Security forces destroyed around 8 acres of poppy plantation at Sadim hill range in Senapati today.
According to police, forest officials of Senapati Forest Division provided drone support for reconnaissance during the drive which was carried out under the initiative of Senapati District Anti-Narcotic Task Force. In addition to poppy plants, the security forces also destroyed two makeshift huts, pipes laid for irrigation, one spray pump and one water container at the site.
