T-20 Veteran Cricket SU-SVC complete league stage sweep

IMPHAL, Feb 25 : SU-SVC, Sagolband are in the quarterfinals of the XIII T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026 as they handed BSC-B, Brahmapur Laljilakpa Leikai a 44-run defeat this afternoon for five of five Group D victories.
SU-SVC elected to bat first after winning the toss and posted a competitive total of 163 runs for 3 wickets courtesy of Rahul’s unbeaten 82 off 59 balls before they restricted BSC-B to 119 for 8 wickets in reply thanks to a concerted bowling effort led by Sanjoy, who returned with the best figures of 3/27.
Pyarlal 15, Baleshor 16 and Lirikhomba 13 not out also made double digit scores for SU-SVC today in the first innings that saw Naoba (2/32) and Vedeshor (1/38) sharing three wickets for BSC-B.
In reply, Swami 28 and Eigya 21 not out led the batting attack as Sanjoy and five others shared 8 wickets to disrupt the chase.
Rahul was adjudged man of the match.
Earlier in a Group C match, YPHU-N, Lalambung rode on Dhaneshor’s 36-ball 52 not out, Robin’s 43 and Shantikumar’s 29 to post 162/6 before Shantikumar (3/32), Surjit (2/28) and Jinta (2/14) held YAC, Yaiskul to 124/9 for their third win in four match.
Birjit (2/27) led the YAC bowling attack earlier before Herod 27 and Ramesh 20 led the scoring in a lost cause.
Shantikumar, who shone with both the bat and ball to boost YPHU-N’s quarterfinal hopes, was declared man of the match.
