IMPHAL, Feb 26 : PTRC, Patsoi Part IV steamrolled KCC, Kongba Bazar by 206 runs in the 10th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Trophy 2025-26 as skipper RK Rex produced an exemplary bowling performance to enjoy an 8 wicket haul after Ng Johnson and Chingakham Bidash hit half centuries at Lairenjam Public Ground.
Asked to bat first, PTRC raised a commanding total of 261 runs for 6 wickets riding blistering half century knocks from Ngariyanbam Johnson (75 off 67; 8 fours) and Chingakham Bidash (51 off 34 balls; 6 fours and 1 six) and significant contributions from Salam Richie (37 off 46; 5 fours) and Andy Mandingbam (37 off 26; 3 fours and 3 sixes).
Chasing 262 for the win, KCC never looked in the contest as RK Rex wreaked havoc to bundle them out for just 55 runs within 15.5 overs.
RK Rex triggered top order collapse including K Mranojit and N Sanayai on ducks and reduced KCC to 20/4 in 6.5 overs before Laitonjan James further reduced them to 21/5 in 7.4 overs.
Rex returned to action yet again and swept another four wickets on the trot to complete his haul of 8/21 in 8 overs that included 3 maidens before Khundrakpam Punsiba undone G Dingku on the highest 22 to put KCC to the sword in the 16th over.
Rex, who shone with the ball and led PTRC to their 6th win in 7 matches, was eventually named player of the match.
Elsewhere at Moijing Public Ground, Model Club, Singjamei Chingamakha beat SCCC, Singjamei Thongam Leikai 30 runs for their third win in 7 matches.
Model Club racked up 177/9 after electing to bat first thanks to Anand Naorem’s 66 off 87 balls and Yungkham Romario’s 27 off 18 balls before Dibak Naorem (4/28), Yungkham Romario (2/30) and Langlonyamba (2/7) shared a bulk of 8 wickets to dismiss SCCC for 147 runs in 28.1 overs.
Hidangmayum Rakeshwor Republic (3/28) and Moirangthem Thomas (2/39) shared 5 wickets for SCCC in the first innings before Bijenkumar Nongmaithem 35 off 41, Basant 22 and Bikash 20 emerged as the leading run getters in a lost cause.
