Boong set for second release

IMPHAL, Feb 27 : After becoming the first Indian film to win a BAFTA Award, Lakshmipriya Devi's Manipuri language film "Boong" is set for a second release in cinemas across India on March 6.
Producer Farhan Akhtar made the announcement on "X" today.
The second release comes amid huge public demand and lack of avenues for people to watch the film, which is currently not available on any streaming platforms or theatres.
On February 22, Boong made history by winning the BAFTA Award for Best Children's & Family Film.
